A certain high street retailer

A company, who will remain anonymous here, but I'm happy to shame by email on request, are total crap. I ordered a DVD player from them 2 weeks ago and they've only now decided that they're prepared to send it. I originally ordered it sent to my Mum's address, it being her birthday present. Apparently they're not allowed to ship electrical goods to anywhere except the cardholder's address. So I told them to send it to my address. They told me they couldn't send it anywhere except the cardholder's address. I said "that is the cardholder's address". They said "We're not allowed to send it anywhere except the cardholder's address, and if you don't give us further instruction we'll cancel the order". I said "For the third time, that is the cardholder address". They appear to have got the message. We'll see. *sigh*
