Forgot to mention earlier that Windows 2000 is now installed on my work machine. Presumably it will now crash in a much more modern fashion. I await my first bsod with quiet reservation.

I rather like Richard Dawkins. He's just been on my telly. Fascinating chap, with an eminently sensible attitude towards religion, in my, as ever, not-so-humble opinion.

John Sulston reminds me of Terry Pratchett. Somebody should give him a hat.

eVB

Apparently porting applications from VB to eVB isn't as simple as it sounds. Looks like I'm doomed to spend the next few weeks trying to take our, only partly working, app and squeeze it onto this CE device. *sigh*

The sooner I get this done the better. This is extremely boring shit that I can't be arsed with at all.

Beam me up Totty? Words fail me. I swear, if it wasn't for the fact that it's the only channel with enough money to get shows like Buffy, Angel, The Simpsons, any and all recent Star Trek spinoffs and Scrubs, there'd be nothing but gossip magazine drivel and poorly disguised porn on Sky One. Is this really what the great British public want? Are they really all braindead morons who snigger at people falling over, drool at the sight of blurred out pubic hair and actually enjoy elaborately glossy series' about footballers and their slutty wives, and air hostesses and their equally slutty, but miraculously tanned, boyfriends? Do they really enjoy the unmitigated crapfest that is revision after revision of the Temptation Island formula?

I fear the answer is quite probably "yes".

*sigh*
