NOT FADE AWAY...
Just finished watching the cartoon version of Soul Music, which I *ahem* obtained last night. Amusing and fairly faithful to the book, as far as I can remember. I'd forgotten the "We're bigger than cheeses!" gag, which came close to causing a coke eruption of unfortunate proportions.
Soul Music is incidentally the only Pratchett title I own which the author has signed (I tried to stop him, but he overpowered me). It's possibly my favourite of his books. I suspect it has something to do with the fact that Death is a central character. Death is cool. Death on a motorcycle is beyond cool. Innumerable pop-culture references and puns of varying groanability are all plusses in my book too. Kudos to the behatted one, and to the wizards of ink and celluloid as well.
