So far today I have managed to finish one website (pending approval), add content to an existing site, look up info on mailservers in preparation for once more attacking the recalcitrant mailserver at Liverpool and sneakily "borrow" a laptop for testing my AP. This is all because I voluntarily quit IRC. Sort of makes me wonder what I could achieve if I applied this policy every day...

You're Scouse! You are from Liverpool, home of the
Beatles. You also are a contender for most
non-English English accent. When you speak to
Americans, most of them just nod blankly and
hope a translator comes by soon. Other than
that, you like to hang out, drink, and take the
ferry cross the Mersey.
What Sort of Brit are You?

Not too far off. My Dad's a scouser. Not the curly haired, "calm down!" type though. Much more reserved. And he hardly ever steals car wheels anymore.

Having a 'mare
3com access points hate me. I went out to a shop and bought myself a crossover cable yesterday, reasoning that, since the access point is intended to be plugged into a hub, it would have come with a straight cable and I would require a crossover to connect it to my pc. Turns out the blasted thing *comes* with a crossover cable, so by logical extension it would appear that I actually need a *straight* cable. No wonder the sodding thing isn't talking to anything!
