12 good men and true
Forgot to mention. On Saturday I got a call from mother while bouncing around in the back of Skippy and trying to keep Willow from drooling on my head. Apparently there was a letter for me at home from Court Services. I immediately began to think back over the last few weeks, trying to remember if any of those lovely little yellow boxes on the motorway had flashed at me (as it turned out, one had, but it was probably flashing for someone else as I was doing 60 at the time). I'll admit I was panicking slightly when I got home and opened the thing, but it turned out to be a notice of Jury Service. For the second time in three years I've apparently been picked to decide the fate of the region's felons. Joy.
Well, at least it's two weeks off work and better pay. If I'm lucky I'll probably get chance to read half the pile of unread books I've managed to amass in the last few months too.
