Celebdaq tactics and bizarre spam

Yes, I play celebdaq. I like to think of it as a way to turn the maelstrom of sleaze and stupidity that is the British press into something more fun. Anyway, my normal tactic is to pick a celeb on the up, rake in the cash, then drop them as soon as the profits slow down. Not this time. I'm taking a gamble on the long game. With Euro 2004 coming up, I figured it might be a nice opportunity to test my quick profit technique against holding one stock and earning dividends. The stock in question is David Beckham. I figure he'll get plenty of newspaper space for forseeable, especially since my gut (and a certain amount of tradition) tells me England will be in Euro 2004 up until somewhere around the quarter or semi finals. Who knows, they may actually capitalise on the world class players they do have and win the damn thing for once. Worth a shot.

Oh, and going through my, suddenly alarmingly efficient, spam trap, I just came across this subject line: "Lesbians stroking their rectum boathouses". *blink*. Those must be *big* girls...

Forgot to mention earlier. Nipped 'round to mother's this morning, after visiting the quack and before going to work, to move the post and suchlike. While I was there I discovered a party invitation from a friend's little girl. "Please come to my 4th birthday party, 12th June 2004"... Knackers. On the 12th of June I will be some 200+ miles south of said little girl and birthday party. Am now feeling guilty.

is a lot better when watched basically back-to-back. I don't know why, it just is. I actually enjoyed it quite a lot. Now I'll have the full set, if I can just get hold of my copy of Season Six...
