Return of the incredible shrinking womble

I have several rings on my fingers. They don't come off. Last night I was messing about with one of them (they move perfectly freely, they just don't come over the knuckle), and it came straight off, no messing. I haven't been able to get that bugger over my knuckle in about 5 years. The others still won't budge, but it's progress of a sort.

I've also discovered that at least one pair of jeans, that formerly fitted, are now so baggy that I can take them off without undoing them first. Methinks I need new jeans...
