Christmas meme (and why not?)
What does Christmas mean to you?
Generally a lot of fun and niceness. I like Christmas. It's the one time of year when I feel like I can be exactly as I would like to be all the time without being laughable. I like giving presents and having the opportunity to let people know what they mean to me.
What is your all time Fav. Christmas song?
Fairytale of New York. That or the Band Aid one. It might not be a great song, but I tend to associate it with what it was *for*, and that's what's really important.
What is your all time Fav. Christmas Carol?
Silent Night
Wrapping paper or Gift Bags?
Bags, I'm afraid. I can't wrap presents to save my life.
Do you have a Christmas theme for your home decor and tree?
Erm, not really. I like to make everything vaguely co-ordinated, but then I also like to have the odd wonderfully tacky bit thrown in too :)
Confess...do you look at your Christmas stuff all year?
Er, no. Who does that?
What is your all time Fav. Christmas TV special?
Dunno, really, one of the Only Fools and Horses ones, probably. Though I did spend a lot of time tracking down the He-Man Christmas Special, just to watch it again :)
What is your all time Fav. Christmas Movie?
It's a Wonderful Life... and Die Hard.
Christmas Eve or Christmas Day?
Christmas Eve. I usually go out for a drink with friends and we swap cards and hugs and generally have a few beers and a good time, then I go back to my mum's house, get into my single bed and I can pretend I'm 5 for a few hours :)
Do you believe in Santa Claus?
As a person, no, as a myth worth perpetuating for the magic of it, absolutely. Kids grow up too fast already. I feel sorry for the ones that didn't have a little bit of magic in their childhood.
