Good clean fun

Ok, the basic SOAP stuff I've done with my blog seems to be working very nicely indeed. I've also tarted a few bits up and fixed a couple of longstanding stupidities. I'm going to add a few more methods soon and see what else I can get going. First I'm going to sort out the RSS feed. The way it's done right now is stupid and it's about time I got it fixed. I'm not sure if you can change the url of a syndicated feed on LJ, so affordable_ori may have to go the way of the dodo and be replaced by a new one. We'll see.

Stories and pomes

A little while ago there was a discussion about how best to publicise new writing. dakegra and sloopjonb decided on mailing lists. I've just accidentally created another solution. In making my RSS feed dynamic, I've included the option to supply a blogid, meaning you can get an RSS feed for every blog available from affordable-wombles. Sounds a little silly, since there's only really one on there, except that when I developed the site, I implemented my short story and poem pages as blogs. They're both available via RSS, so if anyone wants to stick the following URLs in a feed reader, they'll be rapidly notified of any new stuff going up. Quite neat really, and completely unintentional.
