Affordable weirdness
Last week it was orinoco that decided to give up on me, this week Yellowstone, my server in America has decided to play silly buggers. I'm not sure what the issue is yet. It responds to pings and nmap gives what appears to be a complete and accurate list of open ports, but the daemons that are supposed to be listening on those ports don't seem to want to know. It's all very odd. I've sent an email to support, so I'm hoping there'll be a solution soon, but in the meantime affordable-wombles.org, shiny.org.uk and orinoco.homelinux.org are all to be considered down. I'd be grateful if anyone else who has an account with redwood virtual could let me know if they are similarly affected or if it's something specific to Yellowstone.
