finuala, j’accuse! Following a discussion of the efficacy of various herbs and natural remedies in combating occasional ailments and whatnot, I bought some coltsfoot. It can apparently be taken as a tea, smoked, or quite possibly snorted (I wouldn’t advise it though). It does have a certain apparent effect on the respiratory system, but its more noticeable effect is what has made this post so comparatively late. It knocks you the hell out. I’ve been drifting in and out of sleep for most of the day. It’s quite useful at this point, actually, in that I’ve had a serious lack of sleep recently, but still, somewhat disconcerting. I’ll have to put a note on the bag to the effect of “No more than 2, if you want to be conscious tomorrow”.
