What's the next number in this sequence: 8850, 8611, 8586, 8516?

Also, if Jürgen = 11, Gary = 10 and Paolo = 9, what is Just?

Buggered if I know. I'd assumed it was a football shirt number thing, but the desultory googling I could be bothered to do only supported this theory for half the subjects (Jurgen and Gary).

I shall leave it to wiser minds to solve...
