Tonight I'm heading down to London town. I hate going places I don't know. I love driving, providing I can be absolutely sure of where I need to go and what I need to do at all times. Throw me into a completely new city, particularly one as big as London, and I have a tendency to panic. I've got directions from my brother that look deceptively simple. It could all go horribly wrong.
Ok, that's stage one. Once I've found his place, I've then got to run the even scarier gauntlet that is the London Underground and get to Great Portland Street for the CSS meet at the Green Man. At this point I get to rest a while, enjoy the company of my fellow nerds and scare the living crap out of my credit card company by purchasing a couple of beers.
Now for stage 2. After a suitable time period has elapsed, I've then got to get back on the tube, find Hyde Park Corner, get to the Serpentine Road and locate a Random, whereupon Sushi will happen. I've never eaten Sushi before. I've never successfully used chopsticks before, and I've a funny feeling I'm going to end up with something unidentifiable in my lap, quite possibly on more than one occasion.
Once this is all done with, of course, I'll have to find my way back to my brother's place. Hopefully I'll be tired, full of fish, and happy, if a little bit skint.
This all supposed to be fun. Why am I nervous?

I got nothing whatsoever in my lap. My shirt did receive more than its fair share of soy sauce though :(
Note to self: White shirts and sushi do not mix.
