It's happened before. I think it's just LJ being its usual flaky self. I seem to lose comments on mine, for some reason. One minute they're there, the next they're gone, then they turn up again at odd intervals. ISTR reading somewhere that it had something to do with teething problems with the new layout thingy. I'll have a look through the site again, there was some information, but I think it was of the "yes, we know it's a problem, but we don't know how to fix it yet" variety.
