Vanilla Coke, Loaf, Meat and other weirdness

I bought myself a bottle of Vanilla Coke today, on the off chance that it's not horrible. So far I'm sort of pleasantly surprised, but only because I expected it to dissolve my teeth from ten feet away. It's incredibly sickly. You can't drink too much of it in a sitting without wanting something unbelievably sour to accompany it. Other than that, it's rather nice. I may try it with whisky at some point. Maybe in a minute, when I've finished this...

I was trawling the internet earlier, looking for a site that listed the lengths of Meat Loaf's songs, when I came across one particularly lovely example that gave his name as "Loaf, Meat". This tickled me rather more than I should probably admit. If you read between the lines, and you also read afp, that might give you some kind of clue to something...

As a final moment of weirdness, I've recently come to realise why I should never be allowed to light candles without supervision. There are wax stalactites hanging from my mantlepiece and the beginnings of a 'mite on the hearth. D'oh! I'll clean it up, eventually.
