Friday Five (I've not been to bed yet, so it's still Friday, right?)

1. What do you do for a living?
All sorts of IT stuff. Until recently it was mostly web development with occasional forays into application development, system administration and general buggering about with computers. Now it's mostly application development, system administration and occasional forays into web development (for which I am eternally grateful).

2. What do you like most about your job?
I get unrestricted access to the 'net all day, and I get to invent my own solutions to problems no-one else in the office can solve, which is always nice.

3. What do you like least about your job?
The bits where I have to do web design. It's so subjective that I find it difficult to pre-judge customer reactions, and I *hate* not knowing whether I'm doing the right thing. Also, a lot of customers want you to do *evil* things on their website and flat out will not listen when you tell them it's bad and wrong.

4. When you have a bad day at work it's usually because _____...
Some dumbass customer wants the impossible and the boss has already told them they can have it...

5. What other career(s) are you interested in?
Writing, acting, music, the usual pipe dreams.
