Just spoken to the vet. I took my mum's dog round there last night. She's staying with my Grandma while Mum and Dad are in Egypt and she's been drinking like a fish, pissing like a fire hose and generally feeling sorry for herself. According to the vet she's got diabetes.

And the fun just keeps coming...

*sigh*

One glimmer of promise

Since fiddling with my spamassassin settings about an hour ago (whitelisting people whose emails tend to look spammy, but aren't, and dropping the spam threshold slightly), I've received precisely one email I didn't ask for, and about 50 have been trapped in the purgatory that is /var/lib/amavis/virusmails. Hurrah, for that at least.
