Bloody hell...

Been checking www.affordable-wombles.org with various browsers.

Firefox: Fine
Mozilla: Fine
Konqueror: Fine
Opera: Fine
Dillo: Fine (though without the CSS bits)
Lynx: Fine (came up surprisingly well, since I didn't particularly optimise it for text browsers)
IE: Not a fucking hope...

In conclusion, if you want to visit the site over the next few hours, do so with a browser that isn't horribly broken. In the meantime, I'm going to try to convince IE that when I say a cell should be 150 pixels tall, I *mean* it should be 150 pixels tall...

Fixed

I hate bloody IE. Anyway, everything should look the same, no matter what you view it with, now. Of course, there's always the chance I could have missed something, so if anyone with a nice obscure browser spots something odd, let me know. As far as I can tell, it now works fine with Firefox, Mozilla, IE, Opera, Dillo, Safari, Konqueror and Lynx (and presumably other text-based browsers). The only major browser I haven't tested is Netscape, which doesn't seem to be the big player it once was in any case, and will probably react much like Mozilla.

Anal

The vast majority of www.affordable-wombles.org now validates as XHTML 1.0 Strict (that's "strict" as in *everything* in there is valid XHTML and nothing is even remotely dubious). The CSS also validates. I'll poke around some more when I get home, just to make sure there's nothing else lurking, but that should be pretty much it.
