Well, my CCDE ticket has finally been ordered. Hopefully it will be rather fun. This probably doesn't merit a post all on its own, but I'm bored and I don't care. So there.

Oww, that is not good. I'm luck here, even if it is blocked directly I have several methods by which I can connect to the home machine and continue to IRC.

There was some talk here a while ago about checking bandwidth usages and blocking services taking too much, I really doubt IRC can be classified as that though, they would reclaim a lot more BW by blocking the p2p stuff first.
