Third day in a row
This is alarming. I don't think I've ever managed to be this consistent in anything before.
I'm just downloading Eva Cassidy's version of Fields of Gold onto my work pc. I found it on mldonkey by accident yesterday and I'd forgotten how gorgeous it is. It has a kind of gentle melancholy to it that's just lovely (I know that's a terribly weak word, but I just can't find another one that fits). I saw a bit of a programme on TV the other day in which Toyah Wilcox (of all people) was saying how Sting was the best songwriter she'd ever known and how he constantly amazed her. I'd never really thought about it in those terms, but this is certainly one of those songs that just feels a little bit more than human. Aha! It's finished downloading now. I think I'll add it to my playlist. It should fit in fairly well around Hallelujah and Good Life.
